Austrian International Shotokan Cup 2026 in St. Georgen im Attergau

On 30 May 2026, Rebels Karateclub competed at the Austrian International Shotokan Cup in St. Georgen im Attergau, Upper Austria. Our athletes delivered strong performances in the kata and kumite events and returned to Vienna with several medals and podium finishes.

The Austrian International Shotokan Cup is a tradition-rich tournament with international participation and offers an ideal stage to measure yourself against strong competition during the season. This is exactly the challenge we seek - and we took it on with full commitment.

Strong Performances in Kata and Kumite

Both in the individual and the team events, the Rebels presented themselves in top form. With clean technique, tactical cleverness and great fighting spirit, our athletes worked their way through the rounds. Edvin Kuric and Lorenz Hellmer each secured 3rd place in the Kumite Individual Men Senior event, earning two well-deserved podium finishes. Particularly nice: the success was once again a team effort - carried by mutual support at the edge of the mat and the cohesion that defines the club.

A Competition Day That Whets the Appetite for More
