Styrian Open 2026 – Rebels Successful Again in Graz

Styrian Open 2026 – Medals for the Rebels on the International Stage

One year after Lorenz Hellmer’s double success, Rebels Karateclub Wien returned to the Styrian Open 2026 in Graz – and once again our athletes were able to bring medals home to Vienna. The tournament is among the most significant international karate competitions in the German-speaking world and is a true benchmark for any ambitious karateka.

A Top-Tier Field of Participants

Every year, athletes from all over Europe compete at the Styrian Open in the disciplines of Kata and Kumite. Alongside ambitious club fighters, national team athletes from performance centers also take part. This is exactly the level the Rebels seek: anyone who prevails here has held their own against strong competition.

Rebels with Medals in Their Luggage

With focused preparation and the familiar Rebels spirit, our karateka stepped onto the tatami. In clean stances, with precise technique and tactical cleverness, they worked their way through their categories – and were rewarded with several medals. The beaming faces with gold around their necks and the Rebels crest on their chests speak for themselves.

Results like these are no coincidence. They are the result of hard work in training, strategic competition preparation by our experienced coaching team and the unconditional will to improve on every level.

The Rebels Path Continues

The Styrian Open 2026 fit seamlessly into an impressive series of international appearances. Every competition, every medal and every experience on the international stage confirms it: Rebels Karateclub Wien is among the rising forces in Austrian karate.
